Trio Dinner
A Coastal Culinary Experience
Schools
The purpose of the Trio Dinner is to promote Culinary Arts for the Hospitality Industry by providing mentoring and training to students in high school and college.  The dinner is a means to recognize their achievements and to draw attention to the Culinary Arts profession.  The event is brought to you by the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association, its members and partners.

The students participating from high school in this mentorship program are from the Academy for Technology and Academics.  This magnet school receives students from throughout Horry County.  Students have an opportunity to sample hospitality courses, including Culinary Arts in the middle and early high school years.  Once they determine if a career in the hospitality industry is for them, they can apply to the Academy.  For more information visit the ATA website

Our participating college students attend Horry-Georgetown Technical College.  There students can focus on Culinary Arts and earn a degree.  The campus even boasts a restaurant during school semesters.  A big hit with the locals.  For more information visit the HGTC website
